Venice in Bitcoin: plans, prices and the yearly BTC checkout
Venice Pro costs $18 monthly or $180 yearly; Pro+ is $68 and Max $200 a month. Venice takes BTC via BTCPay and USDC on yearly plans, with no KYC.
Venice takes crypto at its own checkout. No reason for us to resell it or charge a fee. Sign in to your own account there and pay them.
Open venice.ai ↗Venice is a private AI chat and API run by a team that came out of crypto, and it takes Bitcoin itself. You open the pricing page, press the crypto button, and pay a BTCPay invoice from your own wallet. There is no middleman to cut out, so we don’t sell Venice and take nothing from it. This page lays out the plans and the exact route for sats.
Prices and payment options were re-checked on venice.ai on October 12, 2026. The last big change was April 10, 2026, when Venice added Pro+ and Max and started giving every paid plan a monthly credit allowance. New paid accounts also get a one-time 500 welcome credits.
Venice plans in dollars
| Plan | Per month | Per year | Included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | — | 10 text and 15 image prompts daily |
| Pro | $18 | $180 | Text prompts without a cap, up to 1,000 images daily, 100 credits monthly |
| Pro+ | $68 | $735 | 7,500 credits a month, unused ones carried for 2 months |
| Max | $200 | $2,160 | 22,500 credits a month, carried for 3 months |
Everything is priced in US dollars, including for buyers in the UK and the EU. The web page has no pound or euro list.
Credits are Venice’s internal money: 100 credits equal $1. Video, music, premium models and API calls all draw on them. Pro+ and Max work out 10% and 12.5% cheaper per credit than buying credit by itself. A plan does not include free API use; each call spends credits at that model’s token price.
Paying for a plan in Bitcoin
- Go to venice.ai/pricing.
- Press "Pay with crypto" under the plan you want.
- Pick "Pay with Bitcoin" for the BTCPay invoice, or "Pay via Coinbase" for USDC.
- Sign in or create an account, settle the invoice from your wallet. The plan then lasts 12 months.
When we followed the Pro links, both crypto buttons landed on the yearly checkout. So Pro in Bitcoin means $180 at once, not $18 a month. Monthly billing is card or app store only.
API credit is bought separately, under Settings → API (venice.ai/settings/api), in dollars by card or in USDC at the same rate.
Before you pay:
- Coins. BTC and USDC. Venice’s own guide tells readers not to assume ETH is accepted. Whether the BTCPay invoice offers Lightning, and which networks the USDC checkout offers, sit behind a login, so we couldn’t confirm them.
- No KYC. Venice’s September 2026 guide to paying for AI with crypto says neither ID checks nor a phone number are required.
- Price risk. The same guide puts the exchange-rate move between sending and crediting on you.
- Refunds. Venice treats paid subscriptions as generally non-refundable, with exceptions only where the law demands one.
Three more crypto routes
Stake VVV. Holding 100 or more staked VVV, Venice’s token on Base, switches on Pro features. You keep the tokens, but their price moves, unstaking takes 7 days, and Venice can end the perk whenever it likes.
Stake DIEM. Each staked DIEM is worth $1 of API credit a day, refreshed at 00:00 UTC, with no carry-over. DIEM is not pegged to the dollar.
x402. Developers can pay per call from a Base or Solana wallet funded with USDC, no account or API key needed. Top-ups start at $5.
Non-crypto payment options
| Method | Status |
|---|---|
| Cards | Monthly or yearly |
| Bitcoin via BTCPay | Yearly plans |
| USDC via Coinbase | Yearly plans and API credit |
| ETH and other coins | Not accepted |
| Apple App Store | Accepted, at higher prices |
| Google Play | Accepted, $23.99 to $949.99 per item |
| Gift cards | None exist |
Apple lists Pro at $23.99 a month or $234.99 a year, Plus at $88.00 or $959.00, and Max at $259.00, about 30% above the web. Apple spends any Apple Account balance first and then your card; some subscriptions can’t use the balance. Plans bought through Apple or Google are cancelled with Apple or Google.
Fine print
No gifts. Venice doesn’t sell gift cards or gifted plans. Its terms also ignore any claimed sale, gift or transfer of credits. venicebazaar.com is a merch shop. A "Venice gift card" from anyone else is not a Venice product.
Referrals. If someone signs up through your link and buys Pro, you each receive $10 of API credit.
Credits over time. Plan credits refill monthly. Pro+ keeps unused ones for 2 months and Max for 3. Credit bought by card does not expire, according to the docs. Cancelling refunds no unused credit.
Cancelling. Use venice.ai/subscription. The plan stays active until the paid period ends.
