Before you send Toncoin

Sending TON on TON, step by step
Self-custody wallet
- 01Check your balance covers the amount due plus the network fee (roughly 1 cent).
- 02Select TON on TON on your order page and leave that tab open.
- 03Open Tonkeeper, or whichever Toncoin wallet you use, hit Send and select TON.
- 04This QR code holds the address only. Scan or paste it, then enter the amount by hand from the order page.
- 05Fill in the memo (comment) from the order page. Skip it and the payment can’t be tied to your order.
- 06Before sending, compare the first and last four characters of the address (Begins UQ or EQ, and comes with a memo) and the amount, digit for digit.
- 07Approve the transfer.
- 08Leave the order page open. It refreshes itself when your transaction shows up, and marks it paid after a few seconds.
Exchange account
- 01Select TON on TON on your order page and use the exchange option there. It switches to a QR code with the address only, plus copy buttons.
- 02In the exchange, go to Withdraw (some call it “Send”) and select TON.
- 03Set the network to TON, The Open Network. Most lost payments start at this step.
- 04Paste the address, then copy the memo from the order page into the exchange’s Tag or Memo box. Don’t skip it.
- 05Type the amount due plus the exchange’s withdrawal fee, or the fee comes out of your payment. The adder below does the sum. Where the form shows a “receive” figure, make that one equal the amount due.
